Greg Reynolds

Greg Reynolds highlighted his golf career by winning the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship in 2002 at the age of 55, and 10 years later in 2012 he qualified for and played in his sixth U.S. Senior Open and 39th United States Golf Association championship.

The Grand Blanc golfer was one of Michigan’s top golfers for several years and was a regular for two decades on the Golf Association of Michigan’s Honor Roll (top 10) as well as being on the roster for the GAM on Atlas Cup and Fuller Cup teams.

Among his victories in the state were two GAM Mid-Amateur titles, two Michigan Medal Play titles, a Horton Smith Invitational win and multiple Flint City titles and club championships at Flint Golf Club and Spring Meadows Country Club.

He was runner-up to Pete Green in the 1986 Michigan Amateur Championship, a runner-up twice in the GAM Mid-Amateur and a runner-up twice in the GAM Championship.

The 1994 GAM Player of the Year and former General Motors executive also played in four U.S. Amateur Championships and six U.S. Mid-Amateurs.
