Suzy Green-Roebuck

Suzy Green-Roebuck is a second-generation member of the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame. Her father, Peter Green, is a legendary figure in Michigan golf and a member of the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame as well.

Suzy was introduced to golf soon after she was old enough to walk. With the nurturing and support of her parents, Peter and Marilyn, she rapidly progressed from the junior ranks at Orchard Lake Country Club to a state Class A High School champion, a Michigan Women’s Amateur champion and a collegiate star and Big Ten champion at Ohio State University before turning professional.

Suzy, displaying the competitive instincts and true grit that mark great champions, won the Michigan Women’s Open three times and competed in two U.S. Women’s Open championships.

She won four times on the Futures Tour before reaching the pinnacle and spending seven years on the Ladies Professional Golf Association.

Green-Roebuck has maintained her game as a senior. In 2018 she qualified for the inaugural U.S. Senior Women’s Open and finished 10th, and later in the summer played in the Senior LPGA Championship and placed 24th. She played in both championships again in 2019.
