Bill Zylstra

Attaining national golf fame after he turned 55, Bill Zylstra has a long, ongoing and distinguished playing record in Michigan.

He made the Michigan Publinx Golf Association’s Honor Roll 17 times and played in the United States Golf Association Junior, Amateur, Public Links and Senior Amateur championships a total of seven times – at last count.

Zylstra’s game blossomed on the national senior amateur circuit, twice winning the Golfweek Senior National Championship and being named Golfweek Titleist National Senior Player of the Year in 2008 and 2009.

He won the prestigious Azalea Invitational in 2009. His stellar U.S.G.A. play includes a 65, breaking the tournament qualifying record, in the 2007 Senior Amateur.

The Golf Association of Michigan’s Senior Player of the Year from 2006 to 2011, Zylstra has won 14 individual and team GAM Senior titles.
