Ken Allard’s distinguished career featured an exceptional playing record in Michigan majors and a highly respected resume as an instructor. In 1991, he was honored as Player of the Year in the Michigan Section.
Allard won the Michigan PGA Championship three times, the Senior PGA twice, the Senior Open and Match Play Championship.
His performances on the national and international scene are similarly impressive. A past president of the Senior Association of the Michigan Section PGA, he competed in 11 Major Championships, including the U.S. Open (twice) and a U.S. Senior Open, a tournament in which he made the cut.
Allard has played in the PGA Championship six times, the Senior PGA Championship twice and the Professional National Championship for club professionals on 12 occasions. He also played in the PGA Tour’s Buick Open three times.
Internationally, he represented the United States in the PGA Cup Matches against Britain/Ireland, a competition he helped the U.S. win.
